Biography
Hello, My name is Leon {Lee}, a seasoned jewelry artisan with 28 years of experience working with gold, silver and precious gemstones. My journey as an artist has been deeply intertwined with my passions for nature, art, and creation. As someone who feels a profound connection to the natural world and all its inhabitants, my work reflects the beauty and serenity I find in nature.
Growing up as a nature dweller, I developed an unwavering respect for the environment and a deep love for animals. This bond with nature is evident in my jewelry, where I strive to use natural elements and gemstones to create pieces that resonate with the earth’s inherent beauty and energy.
In the 90s, I attended art school in Pasadena Ca, where I was able to refine my artistic skills and explore various creative avenues. My love for art is matched only by my passion for aeronautical design. Over the years, I have also worked as an aircraft designer, a role that allowed me to merge my artistic sensibilities with technical precision. This dual interest in art and aeronautics has given my work a unique edge, blending meticulous craftsmanship with innovative design.
Another aspect of my creative journey has been my study of Fibonacci’s formulas and the patterns of Sanskrit. These mathematical and linguistic explorations have profoundly influenced my artistic process, enabling me to incorporate intricate patterns and harmonious proportions into my jewelry designs.
My creations are characterized by their use of natural materials like black walnut wood, shungite, turquoise, quartz crystals, Australian opal, strontium aluminate, copper and so on. Each element is chosen not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its symbolic and healing properties. My aim is to create jewelry that is not just beautiful but also meaningful, offering wearers a tangible connection to the earth’s energies. Each piece I create is a testament to my dedication to art, nature, and the endless possibilities that arise when these two passions intersect.
